My name is John Millen and I am a Unix and Linux System Administrator specializing in the IBM AIX and RedHat Linux operating systems. I have also have some experince with Solaris, HP-UX, Gentoo Linux, and SuSe Linux.
My Unix work experience comes from five years as an AIX System Administrator at Bank of America. This role was in a 24x7 environment supporting internal business units in their deployment of both custom and off the shelf applications. Check out my resume.
I have been using Linux since 1999. At first because it was an affordable way to play with Unix technologies and then later because of its increasing use in the business world.
I have a BS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and live in San Diego, California.
